Cold as ice

I wanted to do my version of the expression "cold as ice"
But
This mani didn't really turn out the way I wanted it to.
On the pictures i'm wearing 2 coats of Kiko and 1 coat of Gosh and yet another one of Kiko- the flakie.
I didn't expect the polishes to be that see through, though it looked pretty neat in daylight.

Trying to catch the flakie/glimmer on the nails as well as in the bottle.

Really think I need to find a light blue polish for my foundation, and then maybe try again.
Perhaps even a white base would do the work, what do you think?

Sun and polish

This mani is inspired by the sun.
Using China Glaze Sun Worshiper and Gosh Rainbow, I wanted to do a bright, sparkling mani.
Couldn't quite figure out how to catch the sparkling flakes in the Gosh polish though.

Using the flash it looked like this

It's weird though, I love, love, love the Rainbow in the bottle with all the flakes and glimmer. Just haven't found a polish that's perfect for the foundation in real life yet :)

Bonus info:
This is icecream-matching mani I was wearing in Barcelona

The brand is from the german company Interco Cosmetics.
About 1 € each, don't remember the exact price

Here are the additional stuff I bought on out trip, some essence nail fashion stickers, nail art stickers and some stuff for a perfect french mani.

And of course a image plate!
Am not sure if it is from Konad, it's called m32 and looks like the one from Konad.
Got to test it some day when I get back to Copenhagen :)

So a lot of polishes, but also insanely cheap polishes!
Have so far tested the Clichés and some of the Kiko's and thought the qualty were just fine.
Love traveling and new stuff!

Did you buy any "foregin" polishes this summer?

Konad and me -Night out

Yesterday I was going to a friends birthday party at a bar, so I wanted to do a dark party mani.
For the base I used Rosie & Roses no. 402, did 2 coats.
Then I Konad'et it with imageplate no. 78, I used my white and yellow Konad special polish for this.
Then I added 2 coats of China Glaze Techno on my tips, and I was ready to go ! :)

-It's amazing how many comments you get when you're out, wearing Konad, even from strangers.

If in a bad mood, wear Konad and get ready for some comments ! ;)

By the way, I literally think a holo mani can save your day, especially if the glitter is in different sizes.
I think i'm in love!

Green Hawaii Rainbow

Yeah, it sounds good :b
I found out that it looks very lovely with Gosh - Rainbow(or any other warm coloured flakie) on top of Gosh - Green Hawaii.
This adds even more glitter and colours to the manicure and it sparkles so very very pretty. You can only see the flakes in the shadow and in light you just get more colourful glitter :) it's great!

It must be time for my debut post on this blog :)

So, you must have heard the exiting news of Stines' and my blog getting together for a period.
So I think it's time for my first post on Stines' blog. This post has been a few days delayed because of laziness(it must be the sun and holiday) but here it is ;)
On Sunday I was shopping and I accidentally unintentionally bought 5 lacquers, uups.
Anyway, they were really cheap so I thought it was okay.
From left to right: H&M - Blue Wave, H&M - Sea Pearl, H&M - Ocean Sand, Gosh - 548 Green Hawaii, Gosh - 546 Rainbow
The H&M lacquers contain 11 mL and I got them for only 10 kr each(about £1,2 or $1,9) and I got the Gosh for only 15 kr each(about £1,8 or $2,8) and I'm very happy about that. I also bought Rainbow for Stine :)
Blue Wave is a baby blue lacquer with shimmer in blue and purple, Sea Pearl also contains shimmer. It's hard to see if it's holographic or just pink/peach, I'm gonna have to find out when I try it on. Ocean Sand is a brown base with silver shimmer. Green Hawaii is a fresh green with holo glitter in all of the rainbows' colours and at last but not least Rainbow is a flakie which shines mostly in orange nuances.
Blurry photo of Green Hawaii to see some of the amazing glitter
I had to try Green Hawaii out immediately :)
Again blurry to see the effect

With matte top coat on my ring finger and pinkie
I hope you are enjoying your holiday :D

Gosh Holographic

This polish makes me think of this amazing song by the beatles.
Listen to it while you're reading this post, it'll do you good :)

This polish really doesn't need any introduction. Get ready to be picture- spammed! <3

Unfortunatly I think it's rather difficult to apply, one coat often ruin the other when applying.
What are your experiences with this polish, share! :)

I know I haven't got that many discount polishes, but this theme-thing is a start, and could might help someone to find out whether to go for the discount,- or high quality polishes.
This theme definitely shows that Tigers (the danish stores) are awful. They might look pretty hanging there in the store, but smells horrific!

Well, good vibes from now, i'm off to packing my suitcase for the holidays ! <3 :)
