Blue with bubbles

I painted on my friends nails, the same friend who told me to make temples.
I did some crack polish first and added some bubbles.
This is how it turned out :)

Temple and eagle

So,  a long time ago eventually, I asked my friend what to paint on my nails and she told me Greek temples.
This is my attempt:
The bird on the middle finger was supposed to be an eagle or something like that :b

Chanel for Christmas

This Christmas I was the lucky and very happy receiver of a beautiful Chanel lacquer. It's called 531 Péridot and is a lovely gold colour with green and bronze shine.
I tried to capture the lovely colour in it, here you go:

Then I felt like adding some kind of black pattern. Here's what it turned out to be :)

I hope you guys had a lovely Christmas too and got some awesome presents :)

Christmas ombre

I did this mani as an experiment.
It was not until after I had been wearing it for a day or so that I could see the christmas ornaments in it.
Actually I came to like it, was really happy with it.

Hope you're all having some wonderful christmas holidays <3

Today i'm going to show you a freehand french mani I did some days ago.
I did this one with almost no light at all, therefore the tips aren't exactly perfect, but I think it works :)

Let it snow.....

Snow is the only thing this season needs right now.
I did this mani with a sponge and a white nailart pen.
Did some coats of the Ghina Glaze, then sponged the Gosh and finally, in order to do a gradient, did the Essie on top, the Gosh one was way too bright.
There you have it, what do you think?

Pastel - 74

This one is the very first in the line of polishes bought in Turkey.
I think I paid about 1,50 Turkish Lire for this one, that is about 6 kroner!
It was so insane compared to prices here in Denmark.
Think I'm in love with Turkey ;)

Pieces vs. H&M

This mani is pretty random, but I wanted to share it with you because of the differences in structure.

Look at the pictures; the fourth finger is wearing another type of gold polish.
That one felt really smooth on the top, the rest felt rough and like abrasive paper, really not a nice thing when you forget to wear topcoat :(

Anyway, I really like the type of polish on the fourth finger. That one is the H&M duo. I think this one will be one of my favorites this christmas :)

YSL Black Lapis

I got this one as a birthday present.
I wanted to see how some of the expensive polishes looked and felt like to work with.
Though i'm afraid this one was a bit of a dissapointment.
The brush was rather thick, and had one of those irritating hairs comming out of the side.
Eventually I simply cut it off, was so annoyed.

The reason why I bought exactly this polish were that I saw the most amazing pictures at Fashion Polish' blog
I have no idea how she takes so amazing pictures, but it you girls have, please share!

Anyway, here's how it turned out.
The formula was pretty thick and took quite a time to dry (if no topcoat used, that is)

Turkish haul!

Went to Ankara in October in order to participate in some meetings with students that are going to join our (danish) group on creating a symposium in 2013, pretty exiting! :)

The last day we went to do some shopping, and I discovered that Ankara is rather much full of polish <3

Picture from a random store, I was literally in love!

This spray is supposed to make nailpolish dry faster.
Can't wait to try it out.
Have any of you efter seen/heard/read/tried this ?
